Topics covered include: introductory soil microbiology, caring for your microbes, gardening with microbes, and using microscopes to view your soil. Plus there will be practical strategies for developing and maintaining your microbes.
By the end of the day, you will be able to identify soil microbes in your soil and understand how they help plants grow in healthy, sustainable ways. Participants are encouraged to bring a soil sample from their garden.
Lunch with be provided, but if you have any special dietary requirements, please bring along you own special lunch. Tea and coffee available.
